Mike Murphy
1973 - 1975
Mike joined REO Speedwagon in 1973 during recording of the
Ridin The Storm Out album.
He re-recorded the vocal tracks which had previously been recorded by
Kevin Cronin.

Son of a Poor Man appears
on the album A Decade of Rock and Roll)
Mike also featured on the album
Lost In A Dream, on which
he co-wrote the title track with Bruce Hall,
(who later joined the band on bass), as well as 5 other tracks.
He left the band in 1975 after the recording of
This Time We Mean It,
from which his single Reelin
was taken.
